Staying Healthy

This is another Summer Learning Journey post for Day 4 Week 3 Activity 2 year 6-8. For this task I was told to write down five ways about how my family and I are trying to stay healthy. What I found hard while making this post was trying to find my trying to stay healthy fifth thing. Here is my post about Staying Healthy!

  1. Kia ora Sophie,

Thank you for your five healthy tips! Your diet sounds pretty good to me. I also have eggs for breakfast. How do you like your eggs? I prefer mine poached and with a slice of toast and avocado. It is so delicious, I am salivating right now just thinking about it :P

Exercise is really good for staying healthy too! As they say, you have to do 30 minutes a day. What is your favourite kind of exercise? Playing sports is my preferred way to exercise, but I also enjoy walking and sometimes I go to the gym too.

Another really important way to look after your health is to get a good night's sleep! Your body needs rest, I try to get a solid 8 hours of sleep every night. Sleeping is so important as it gives your body time to recharge and recover.

Thanks for sharing your 5 tips for staying healthy! I really enjoyed your blog design too :)

  2. Thanks for the good comment, Beren! I love to practise my swimming at Swim Club and I also practise Soccer,Basketball and Netball. I quiet like my eggs fried and sometimes sunny side up. I definitely get enough sleep because I sleep in till about 8.00 in the morning!

    1. Hi Sophie,

Oh wow, sounds like you do get a good sleep in! My wake-up time is normally around 6.30 am, but I try and get to bed before 10.

Mmmm, now you have me thinking about eggs. Luckily I am having some for lunch today :D

  4. Hi Sophie, Hannah here. I like your post about what your family does to stay healthy. Next time you could maybe add another picture and some more colour. From Hannah
