Amelia Earhart and Jean Batten

Here's my fourth Summer Learning Journey post for Day 2 Week 1 Activity 1 year 6-8. What I found hard while making this blog post was trying to find the differences and  common things about Jean Batten and Amelia Earhart. But I enjoyed learning about both of their lives.     Good afternoon Sophie,

    Great work on explaining the similarities and differences between Amelia Earhart and Jean Batten. I think it’s so interesting how different these two women were in life, and yet they had very similar goals. Can you imagine what would have happened if they raced each other? Who do you think would win?

    Being an Aviator must be pretty exciting, do you think you could ever fly a Plane?

    Thanks for the Awesome comment, Beren. It would be cool to fly a plane. I think I would pick Amelia Earhart because she has more experience. Can't wait to hear from you on January 6!
