The Final Post

Here I am for my 60th and last Summer Learning Journey post for Day 5 Week 4 Activity 3 year 6-8. The Summer Learning has sadly come to an end and for this last post I was told to write a conclusion about the SLJ which had to include my favourite post, the post I disliked doing most, 3 things I learnt and what the SLJ Team could improve on next year. What I found hard while making this post was trying to figure out what I learnt. Here is my last SLJ post!

The Quote

This is my 59th Summer Learning Journey post for Day 5 Week 4 Activity 2 year 6-8. For this task I was told to go on a website that had 25 different quotes that kids should hear. Then I had to pick my favourite quote and I had to put it in a text box in front of a picture that shows what the quote means and then I had to write at the bottom of the page why I picked the quote. What I found hard while making this post was trying to find a good picture to be the background. Here is my post about The Quote!

The Royal Family Dance Crew

Here is another Summer Learning Journey post for Day 5 Week 4 Activity 1 year 6-8. For this task I was told to watch a video of The Royal Family Dance Crew at the 2019 Mega Crew Division. Then I had to write what I liked and disliked about their dance and what they need to improve on. What I found hard while making this post was trying to get a good picture of the dance crew. Graffiti Art

This is another Summer Learning Journey post for Day 4 Week 4 Activity 3 year 6-8. For this task I was told to go on a website to look at graffiti art from the 2011 Christchurch earthquakes and take a screenshot of two different ones that I liked. Then I had to write down the differences and similarities
between the two. What I found hard while making this post was trying to find some good pictures. Here is my post about Graffiti Art.

My Tapa

Here is another Summer Learning Journey post for Day 4 Week 4 Activity 2 year 6-8. For this task I was told to make a Tapa Cloth Design and I had to draw or make it myself. The 27 Names Company

Here is another Summer Learning Journey post for Day 4 Week 4 Activity 1 year 6-8. For this task I was told to find out what inspired the 27 names company to be called that and I had to say if I liked it or not. What I found hard while making this post was fitting all my writing on the page. I like how the Twenty-Seven Names company is called that because I think it has a cool ring to it! Dear Diary,

The most extraordinary thing happened today! I was watching the news when the breaking news sign came onto the screen. “Global Warming and Climate Change have been executed.” I WAS SO HAPPY! After all the fires in Australia I thought New Zealand would get some storms or something but I was wrong. I kept watching the news and it said within the next few days rain would start falling in Australia and hopefully the fires would be put out. All the people who have lost everything will be able to rebuild! A dream come true.

Shakespeare Language

This is another Summer Learning Journey post for Day 1 Week 4 Activity 2 year 6-8. For this task I was told to write about what I did this morning and then use a website to turn it in to Shakespearean. Then on my blog I had to have the English version of what I did and the Shakespearean version but both are the same in a way.
