My Favourite Websites

This is another Summer Learning Journey post for Day 1 Week 3 Activity 1 year 6-8. Do you have any favourite websites? Well, for this task I was told to take a screenshot of four different websites that I liked. Then I had to put them all on a presentation. What I found hard while making this post was trying to find good websites. Here is my post about My Favourite Websites!

  1. Kia ora Sophie,

Thanks for putting together such a neat slideshow of all your favourite websites. I really liked the variety of websites you included. Collins Dictionary caught me by surprise, I didn’t realise they had a website! That must be super handy for all your writing.

Cooltext is very cool. Now I understand where all your fun titles were coming from. Do you have a favourite style?

Prodigy looks like a creative way to learn mathematics. It looks more like a fantasy game than a maths website. What do you like most about it?

I love learning new facts, and often use wikipedia for research and learning. I also love youtube as a source for learning, because I am a visual person and like to learn through listening and watching.

Thanks for sharing this Sophie :)

  2. Thanks for the amazing comment, Beren! I quite like the MIAMI one and the Glossy one too. Lots of kids in my class love prodigy so they go on it 24/7 but I only like going on it at school as it is really good that the questions are really easy!
