Indigenous Groups
This is another Summer Learning Journey post for Day 4 Week 2 Activity 2 year 6-8. For this task I was told to look at five different websites for different Indigenous Groups, then I had to pick two that I was interested in. I had to to write down two different facts for each group so its four in total. What I found hard while making this post was picking two Indigenous Groups that I was interested in. Here is my post about Indigenous Groups!

Hello Sophie,
ReplyDeleteThat’s incredible! I had no idea the Papuan people had so many different languages. That blows my mind. Can you imagine how crazy it would be to leave your home and arrive in another town only to find nobody understands you, and you don’t understand them?
I also didn’t know that the Aboriginal People have the longest population of humans outside of Africa. I wonder how different the world looked 70, 000 years ago. It’s quite sad how the Australian Aboriginals have been treated by European settlers. I hope they one day get back what was taken from them.
Well done Sophie, I enjoyed learning some new facts about indigenous groups :)
Beren
Thanks for the awesome comment, Beren! That would be really funny but if it was me I wouldn't know what to DO!
ReplyDeleteHi Sophie, Hannah here. I like your post about Indigenous groups. No I did not know that nearly all of Papua New Guineas population are Christian. Next time you could maybe add an image or two. From Hannah
