Dr Jessa Rogers

This is my 17th Summer Learning Journey post for Day 1 Week 2 Activity 2 year 6-8. I was told for this task to work out a years, months and days question which was... 7 April 1985- 9 July 2010. Then I had to work out what was the difference between those two dates. What I found hard while doing this post was calculating the months and the days took a lot of thinking! Here is my post about Dr Jessa Rogers Award Age!

  1. Hi Sophie,

Thanks for sharing your post, and great problem solving! I like how you broke your problem solving down clearly into years, days, and months. 25 years, 3 months, and 2 days, wow, Dr Jessa Rogers has accomplished quite a lot don’t you think?

Can you imagine what the world will be like when you are 25 years old? What do you think you will be doing? When I was 25 years old, I decided I wanted to become a teacher, and so I went back to University to study Education.

Another nice blog post Sophie, thank you, I am enjoying reading them. Keep it up :)

  2. Thanks for the great comment, Beren! In her lifetime she has done amazingly well! It would be crazy trying to decide what job you want! But I think I will be studying as a vet in university by then!

    1. Hi Sophie,

Becoming a veterinarian would be so cool! How exciting for you :)

Fortunately you have plenty of time to decide what you want to do. You can change your mind several times, and try lots of different things. Maybe you can be a vet first, and then a spy later? :D
