My Random Act Of Kindness

This is another Summer Learning Journey post for Day 5 Week 2 Activity 2 year 6-8. For this task I was told to perform a random act of kindness and then I had to write what I did, how did it make me feel and how did it affect the person. What I found hard while making this post was trying to find a good act of kindness to perform. Here is my post about My Random Act Of Kindness.

  1. Hi Sophie,

Thanks for sharing your blog post on a random act of kindness you did. Helping with the dishwasher is a very thoughtful act of kindness, I am sure your mum greatly appreciated it. Sometimes little gestures can make a big difference. I know I really struggle with doing the dishes, so when somebody else helps me I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders.

Do you help out with the chores at home often? When I used to live at home, my parents had a chore roster. The chore roster meant they expected me to do certain chores every week, like vacuuming the lounge or mowing the lawns. I hated doing it at first, but then I grew to appreciate having a tidy home and looking after the backyard.

Thanks for creating this blog post. I like how you separated it into two sides, how your actions affect others, and how it made you feel.

  2. Thanks for the cool comment, Beren! In the mornings If my Mum is out on the farm I clean up breakfast and wipe down the table. There are other jobs I do too like get wood, feed the chickens and get the eggs.
