Captain James Cook

Here I am for my last Summer Learning Journey post for Day 5 Week 1 Activity 3 this week. For this task I had to pick an Explorer or a Sportsperson that I like and I had to have their name, what they do and how their work helps others on the document. I picked Captain James Cook!     Thanks for sharing your blog post on Captain James Cook. No doubt history would be quite different without his multiple explorations of the South Pacific. Do you know how his explorations impacted the world?

    Do you think you could add a little more detail about this? If you could write another sentence about how James Cook’s work impacted the lives of others, then we can give you full points for this activity :)

    Thanks for the good comment, Beren! I just fixed that! He is a really good inspiration to people and he has written journals of his voyages and has discovered a number of countries and islands!
