Place Value Partitioning

69+36= Hard isn't it? Well, one of the ways to make it easier is using Place Value Partitioning! For this task, we had to pick something that we learnt last week and make a DLO on it. Then we had to the choice of finishing it of with a video or not. I made a video. What I found hard while talking in the video was trying not to leave big gaps between words and jittering was hard to conquer. Here is the video about Place Value Partitioning?

    You have done a fabulous job explaining how to do this. Did you find this the easiest way to work out addition and subtraction problems?
