My Favourite Game

Here is another Summer Learning Journey post for Day 5 Week 3 Activity 2 year 6-8. For this task I was told to write about my favourite game and it could be a board game, sports game or a quiet game that I play by myself as long as the post had the name of the game and how to play it. What I found hard while making this post was trying to find a good game to write about. Here is my post about My Favourite Game!

  1. Hi Sophie

It is great that you have a love of netball. It is a really great sport to play.
I love netball too. This is the sport that I have played all my life.
    What is your favourite position?

When I first started playing I was a goal defence. I had always liked playing at the defence end of the court. And then when I was older I gave shooting a go! And guess what? I really liked it. So I finished off my playing years as a shooter.

I really admire Laura Langman as I think she is such an amazing athlete. Her fitness and commitment to the Silver Ferns is crazy!

Have you ever been to watch the Silver Ferns play live in Christchurch? It is an amazing thing to do. If you haven't then I really recommend it.

Thanks for trying to attribute your image also. It is a great habit to get into. When you get to high school you will have to do this for all of your work, so its good to practice now!

Keep up the great work Sophie

    Until next time

    Allie :)

  2. Thanks for the awesome comment, Allie! I normally play goal shoot or goal defence (same as you.) It's funny because I am normally a shooter at the start of a game but then I see the other team really hassling our defence and I want to show them who's boss! I have been to see them play at Christchurch some time last year with my friends where they won. I thought it was an amazing experience seeing the players up close and not on the TV!

  3. Hi Sophie, Hannah here. I like your netball post. Why is it your favourite game to play? Next time you could also add maybe an image of your favourite netball player. From Hannah
