The Final Post

Here I am for my 60th and last Summer Learning Journey post for Day 5 Week 4 Activity 3 year 6-8. The Summer Learning has sadly come to an end and for this last post I was told to write a conclusion about the SLJ which had to include my favourite post, the post I disliked doing most, 3 things I learnt and what the SLJ Team could improve on next year. What I found hard while making this post was trying to figure out what I learnt. Here is my last SLJ post!

  1. Hi Sophie, well done for completing the SLJ! You have done an incredible job. I love the quote your mum said about treating others how you would like to be treated, a wise woman! You have given the SLJ team some great feedback for next year. Enjoy your holidays and see you soon back at school.

  2. Hi Sophie. I like your SLJ last post slide show because you included all of the questions and answered then really well. Next time you could maybe add a link into the slide with the activity you liked the least because you put a link i o the first slide for the one you liked the best. From Hannah

Congratulations for completing all 60 activities for the SLJ for this summer. You have done an amazing job and we are all very proud of you for putting in so much effort.
It is great that your role model if your Mum. Mums are really special people.
I am pleased that you have enjoyed getting on your chromebook each day and doing some of the activities.

I am sorry that you feel you haven't had many comments, we do try to get to each student on a daily basis. We do have a lot of students blogging but I promise we will read each and every post that you have done. We have some catching up to do, but we will get there.

Enjoy the rest of your holidays and I hope the sun shines! I will see you soon when I return to Awahono School with certificates and prizes.

Thanks for taking part again this year Sophie!

    See you soon

  4. Hi Sophie
CONGRATULATIONS for completing the SLJ. You should be very proud of your self. Coding is quite hard especially if you have never done it before. I was lucky to have done it in the last term of last year with the support of my teacher. Yes I was surprised at how much work I could do when I tried hard enough. I learn't that 2 years ago when I first did the SLJ.
Hopefully you will carry on doing the SLJ next year.
    Keep it up

    1. Hey Sophie
Yes I have last year in my school I got a spot prize for getting 4th. You don't normally get a prize for that but I was 15 points off the person who got third. What about you?

    2. Last year I only made two posts! ( So I have never got a prize before, but I am really hoping to get one this year!) So I really pushed myself hard this year!

    3. Hey Sophie!
I think you will get a prize in your school. If you don't manage to get one for first, second or third you may get a spot prize because your posts have been really good.
Keep it up for the following year
