Wasp Life Cycle

Solly and Miro brought a wasp nest to school and we had to write about it. There were lots of reading activities I could pick from but I wanted to write about a wasps life cycle. Here is my wasp life cycle slideshow.

  1. Hi there,my name is Ama from waikowhai primary school,Wow, you are quite talented! How did you manage to make the words spin in the beginning? Two questions, wasn’t it a bit dangerous bringing wasp nest to the class?
and was there any live wasps in the nest?I think you did an amazing job writing this description.
You also did a great job on the background, i could read your writing very easily!Maybe next time you are writing you can add some more detail?

  2. Thank you for lovely comment. I thought I needed to put more detail. All you have to do to get the words spinning is go to transition on slide up at the top and then press on it and it comes up with select an object to animate. Then you press on what object you want to animate and then you press on the button and it comes up with lots of different kinds of transitions like fade in and spin. So you click on one of those and press play but it won't come up then so after that you have to go into presentation and press the right arrow key and then your object spins. There actually was live wasps in the nest and I think it was dangerous because people could get stung so we killed the wasps. Next week I will go on your blog.
