100 Word Book Review

One of the tasks for reading a couple days ago was to write a book review. The review had to contain exactly 100 words and it could be about any book you were reading at home. It also had to include information about the characters, events that happened and your opinion. I didn't have enough words left to write my opinion. I picked a book called Brimstone from the Fire Watcher Chronicles.

The main character in the novel Brimstone is a 13 year old boy named Christopher Larkham who lives in 1940 London during the devastating Blitz. He likes to scavenge around his hometown, and is an ace at plane spotting. When he finds an unusual glowing ring near the river Thames, weird things start to happen and Christopher finds himself travelling between two great historic timelines: 1666 and 1940. With The Great Fire Of London raging through the city in 1666 and bombs dropping overhead in 1940 he has to take daring risks, save his friends and outrun the hungry flames…
