Stop Motion Animation

When Mrs Hahn was our teacher for the day we had to work with Room 2. We had to make a Stop Motion Animation slideshow about two house groups racing. Mine was Pukeko vs Tui. I hope you enjoy it.

Pompeii

In Storybytes we read a story about a city called Pompeii. Pompeii got covered in ash and pumice rock. We had to think about what we would hear,see,smell,taste and felt if we were one of the people who got away. I hope you enjoy it.

What I need to work on, where I'm at and what I need to do to write a report

To write a report I need to research a topic, write in paragraphs and know if the research is correct. I need to work on making the sentences make sense and to work on punctuation. I liked writing about animals and getting to know how they live and to learn about them. The hardest thing would be getting enough information for the paragraphs and putting in punctuation. I can write about something that I know lots about and write lots about it . For me to get better I look at what people said about my writing on my blog and if they say I have made mistakes it makes me want to fix them.

What I think about working in a group

It is harder to work in a group than by myself because in a group people that I worked with wrote things that I did not know about. We were very fast when we wrote the report. Well I think people in my group could have been less distracted and focused on their paragraphs. We need to make everyone know what each person is doing, more than one person can help someone and their is no laughter that could distract other people or yourself .
