Our class all had to make a slideshow or a drawing and write down three fun facts about New Zealand from a very helpful tourism website. We have just started the Summer Learning Journey and this is our first task. This is my drawing about Aotearoa!

Wow, those are some really interesting facts about New Zealand and you have presented your work superbly, well done! I have lived here my whole life and had no idea that 30% of our country is bush! I love the images and colours you have used, Sophie, it's very eye-catching! Thankfully there are no snakes in New Zealand, I don't think I would be able to sleep at night if we had snakes roaming around! I don't particularly like snakes and would be very scared if I met one. You can find snakes at the zoo though, have you ever seen them? Are you scared of any animals? It's good that New Zealand doesn't have many dangerous animals at all. We're very lucky to call this place home.

DeleteSorry Evelyn I forgot to answer your questions! I am not scared of any animals though I do not like bulls. I've been to a zoo in Christchurch but I did not see any snakes!

Every time that we use an image on our blog, it's really important that we tell our readers where we found it, and give credit to the owner of the picture. To properly credit a picture you will need to include a link to the site where you found the image. We have created a guide that you might find helpful.
